OSKA Pure was founded by Mehdi and Flora, two chemical engineers who set out to answer a question the haircare industry had mostly stopped asking: could a smoothing treatment perform like a professional formula without the compromises stylists had learned to accept?

The answer took years of formulation work. Today OSKA Pure is formulated, manufactured, and bottled in our own Montreal facility by a team of cosmetic chemists and hair professionals. Owning every stage means the people who write the formula are the people who make it, and nothing between the bench and the bottle is out of our hands.

Our professional line was built for the salon: Keratin Smoothing, Nanoplastia, and Hair B.Tox, all formaldehyde-free, vegan, and cruelty-free, designed to be combined in the bowl so stylists can customize the ratio to each client's hair type and desired result. These are working tools, and they come with the application protocols to back them.

Our at-home range is built around the concern, not the treatment. Dry, damaged hair gets a Hydrate & Repair shampoo and conditioner formulated to rebuild and hold moisture. Fine or thinning hair gets the Thickening & Densifying line, including a serum and scalp spray, made to build visible density. Frizz, colour-treated hair, and a full scalp collection each have their own dedicated system. Where a product needs an active to work, we include it at the level that actually delivers the result, not the level that reads well on a label.

Post-treatment care is one part of that range rather than the whole of it. Our Maintenance Shampoo and Conditioner and Smoothing Mask are formulated to extend a professional treatment for months rather than weeks. The rest of the catalogue exists for everyone else.

What connects all of it is a single standard: performance without compromise. Every formula we make is vegan and cruelty-free, built on plant-based and naturally derived actives, and designed to respect the hair and scalp it touches as well as the environment it eventually reaches.
